I race to win—but more importantly, I race to save lives.
My mission is to raise national awareness about the warning signs of Type 1 diabetes through racing, education, and community outreach. Inspired by my little brother Rocco, who passed away from undiagnosed diabetes, I’m using every lap, every event, and every story to help families “check, don’t guess.” Because early detection saves lives and sometimes, racing is more than just a sport. It’s a platform for change.
A nonprofit organization founded by my family after we lost my little brother Rocco to undiagnosed Type 1 diabetes. He was just one year old when he passed away due to diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), all because the warning signs weren’t recognized in time.
Since then, we've been on a mission to make sure no other family goes through what we did.
Mission Statement:
We raise awareness about the early symptoms of Type 1 diabetes through education, community outreach, and advocacy — encouraging families to “check, don’t guess” and recognize the signs before it’s too late.
Early signs of diabetes can include:
✔️ Fruity breath
✔️ Sudden weight loss
✔️ Fatigue
✔️ Excessive thirst or urination
✔️ Confusion or nausea
🛑 If you notice these signs — get tested. Don’t assume it’s the flu.
